On November 15, the tatami in the capital were filled with a true fighting spirit. Kyiv hosted athletes from all over the country at the Open Kyiv Kyokushin Karate Cup — a tournament dedicated to the “Angels of Sport,” athletes who stood up to defend Ukraine and gave the most precious thing — their lives.
This year, the competition brought together representatives from 9 regions and Kyiv — around 300 participants in total. Each of them stepped onto the tatami not only to win, but also to honor the memory of true Heroes.
Events like this show that the strength of karate lies not only in strikes, but also in unity, character, and respect for those who are no longer with us, but will forever remain in our hearts.
Osu! We continue to train champions at Misak Dojo! 🔥🥋
