Useful information for beginners

We are extremely happy and proud that our Sports Club "Misak Dojo" is constantly gaining new students. And the question that most often arises from parents and children who want to train with us is, "What should a newcomer know?"

A mini-cheat sheet that will help new students join our friendly team:

1. Greetings at the beginning of training:

Sensei-ni-rei — respect to the teacher (sensei, trainer).
Sempai-ni-rei — respect to the senior student (karateka who stands first in line).
Otagai-ni-rei — mutual respect exchanged between individuals.
Response of students after each phrase — ● Os!

2. Farewell at the end of training:

Sensеi-ni-arigato gozaimas'ta — bowing and thanking the sensei (teacher, trainer) for training.
Sempai-ni-arigato gozaimas'ta — bowing and thanking the senior student (the karateka standing first in line) for trainingowing and thanking the senior student (the karateka standing first in line) for training.
O-tagai-ni-arigato gozaimas'ta — bowing and thanking each other for training.

3. The score in the warm-up:

Ichi, — 1,
Ni — 2,
San — 3,
Chi — 4,
Go — 5,
Roku — 6,
Sichi — 7,
Hachi — 8,
Ku — 9,
Dzyu — 10.
